Songwriting…Should I Try It Out?

Well, I was just thinking the other day. I love music, I like to write stories. Why not combine them both and try writing songs?

I would probably write songs about love to start, it’s a powerful feeling – love. Idk what or how to say it, it just really is. :)
I am bound to start with that first.

I’m not sure how it’ll work out but I want to try it! It won’t hurt anything and who knows, maybe I might get something amazing. Well, thanks for reading! Updates Aweeeeee, Was I Missed At All? :P

Yeah, Verizon tore me a new one, couldn’t go on for 4 days, bleeehhhh! I even blogged on my own days without internet, don’t ask, just read and welcome me back! I’m in tears so you may want to embrace me and make me feel <333. :(

Day 1 Of No Internet, April 26, 2008

Well, the internet has kicked me off completely, folks. Nowhere to go, nobody to talk to, nothing to access. It will be like this for an estimated 5 to 8 days, until then, no internet. I’ll live, yeah, I won’t completely break down like some people do, like Gloria Gaynor says – I will survive! :D

I am just focusing my time to other things, exercise, movies, friends, random adventures, there is a ton I can do, even if my county is a complete boring shithole, where the local hangouts in town are the McDonalds and Food Lion store. Yes, folks, I’m not even kidding you. This town doesn’t have anything decent, no local pool, no local movie theater, no local arcade, no Wall Mart, no Mall, nothing. It is all boring, mostly.

I start off the day with my friend, Rob, coming over. We’re doing random shit and my lawnmower is once again, fucked up. Rob is visiting and helping me out with that, he helps me push it to the truck, which was like 400 feet of pushing through thick grass, yeah man, 2 dumb boys pushing a lawnmower all the way to a truck. The lawnmower is one of those you drive around, like a 4 wheeler or something.

I had in mind to visit one of my neighbors to get it fixed. Note: These neighbors are poor rednecks, overweight, poor, live in a very very small house, live on welfare, little education in their minds, yes, bottom of the barrel. 9 out of 10 times, they can fix your shit though and my lawnmower is an absolute fuck up. I decide Rob and I will do that.

We drive a mile down to there place and knock on the door, a large redheaded red skinned redneck is there to greet us. He’s probably 400 something pounds, short, looks like your typical redneck. He is rather friendly though. I’ll identify him as “Redneck #1” for now. I’ve sold lawnmowers and bicycles to him before so he knows me somewhat.
Quick notes: I’m wearing a bandanna with a peace sign on it and a black tank top, my thick hair is rising up and occasionally blowing about in the wind. Rob’s wearing redneck type clothes. [He is a country boy as well.] Redneck #1 is wearing some sweaty t-shirt and just looks like he is poor as hell. [and he is.]

Justin: “Hey man.”
Redneck #1: “Hay buddy!”
Justin: “Yeah, my lawnmower is having problems, was wondering if you want to come by and we’ll let you hang on to it to fix it up.”
Redneck #1: “Alright, man, a sure thing.”
Justin: “Alright, sweet, thanks man.”
*Redneck #1 hops onto back of truck and Rob starts the truck up with me next to him.*

Rob: “Whoa man, his belly keeps getting bigger and bigger.”
Justin: “Haha, yeah. He’s good at fixing things though.”

We all arrive at my place and we put the lawnmower on the truck, I had to hop onto the back to grab the lawnmower in so this time, Redneck #1, aka Louie, is inside the truck with Rob. Rob drove the truck up to Louie’s faster than usual, probably hoping that driving faster would piss me off since I’m sitting in the open, the wind blowing on me, but I loved it. The wind feels good blowing your hair back like that, y’know? :D

We all arrive at Louie’s, one more redneck fat man comes out and some little kid as well.

Myself, Louie, and Rob put the lawnmower off the truck.
Little Redneck Boy: “Wow! Papa! Here’s another thing to work on!”
Redneck #2: “Rudy, you keep your dern mouth shut, boy!”
Little Redneck: “I’ll get to help fix er up, roight?”
Redneck #2: *grunts*
Justin: “So you help Papa out with this kinda stuff, eh?”
Little Redneck: “Yup! I always help Papa!”
Justin: “Alright, well, I’ll give ya 20 dollars for now to get some things needed for it.” *hands over 20 to Louie*
Louie: “Yeeehaw yes sireee, I’ll get roight to work on it!”
*Louie, Redneck #2, and Little Redneck are trying to push the lawnmower by their garage, they are having difficulty.*
Justin: “It’s a hassle man, doesn’t like to be pushed around, it’s like a stubborn ol’ woman.” :P :P :P :P
*All 3 rednecks give a “hee hee haha!” laugh and Rob and I laugh as well*

Haha, well after that, Rob and I get back to my place and his ass is lying on the couch while I type all that just happened, it’s only 11:24 AM, I wonder how my e-buddies are doing? Off for now…more to come! :P

3:24 P.M.
Well, I’ve done quite a bit since 11:24 A.M. Rob and I went into town, we went to Christian’s Pizza, some really good pizza! I got myself a beef and bacon slice of pizza and a pepperoni and sausage pizza. Rob got two spicy chicken pizzas. We downed those and got a few thing’s from Sam’s Club, as we were leaving there, I saw a little girl that must have been like 4 or 5 I guess, she was staring at a gumball machine and obviously wanted a gumball, so I put in two quarters for her and she got herself a gumball. It was cute, she smiled happily and repeated “thank you” and I just smiled and said “You’re welcome.” Her mother also smiled and thanked me, it made me feel pretty good inside and it was only for giving up two quarters, Rob couldn’t help but laugh at me, haha. It was a simple thing to do and it made someone really happy, so in turn, it makes me feel really happy, just doing one little deed. ^_^

Then we dropped off some CD’s at a friend of mine’s house. As we did that, it all of the sudden just poured rain nonstop and heavy for like 10 minutes and then after that, it was bright and sunny as if nothing happened! I love it when that happens, man! Good ol Summer weather! We ended up soaked and as we were driving around in that rain, there was this car dragging this platform with chairs on it and these old people sitting on it had chairs over their heads! They were trying to not get wet! I couldn’t help it, I laughed out loud! It was hilarious! :P
Rob and I drove back to Louie’s and the lawnmower was fixed, I paid Louie a $50 and had to drive the lawnmower back to the house as Rob drove the truck back. We got the lawnmower back and Rob and I went are separate ways. Now, I’m home, enjoying this nice thunderstorm outside! I got to mow the lawn right before the storm. So yeah, this was a nice day, thought I blog about it, even though I cant actually post it on my blog yet. It’ll be there soon and you can read of my times without being online for a few days, well, take care! I’m going to run outside and enjoy this thunderstorm!! :D

Day 2 Of No Internet, April 27, 2008

9:28 P.M.
Well, today’s been one of those days, not much has been done today for me to be honest. I’ve just been relaxing, watching movies, playing music, etc. I haven’t gone outside very much today compared to yesterday. I woke up around 7:00 and had my breakfast, pancakes and syrup. I heard of the unfortunate news of Chris Long, who was my favorite player off my favorite college football team for years, was drafted by my least favorite National Football team, the St. Louis Rams, damn!! I was pissed about that but happy for Chris anyways, but it will suck because my favorite team plays the Rams twice a year. L
He was drafted 2^nd overall and another Virginia player, Brandon Albert, was drafted 15^th overall. I’m happy for both of them turning pro and being picked so early, I had a lot of fun going up to their games last season and other previous seasons. Another previously graduated player I liked, Tom Santi, also managed to get drafted.

I slouched around in the living room and watched a movie I like, Predator, it’s a really good Sci-Fi action one with Governor Ahnuld! “Get to da chopppaaaaaa!!” :D
I spent some time working on a new story I’ve decided to write. It’s called, “1,2,3,4, What Are We Fighting For?” and it’s about a guy who unfortunately, is drafted to the Vietnam war, fucking all of his hopes of playing professionally with his band and being with the woman of his dreams. The main character is named Johnny “Huxley” Armstrong and is mainly based off my own persona, even having my nickname as his main name. If you want to read it, just let me know and I’ll send it to ya. :D

I’ve played guitar for countless hours in my boredom state, my fingers are feeling so weird, man, lol. I played both, the Ovation acoustic and the Yamaha electric for what must have been a combined total of 5 hours today. I also played a stench of harmonica and electric keyboard as well.

I’ve found time to work out as well, I like to try and keep in shape. A little bit of lifting and I’ll admit, I own an Ab-Lounge to make sure my belly doesn’t become huge! :P
I think I’m going to try and grow sxe abs, look out folks! :P :P :P :P

I talked with my dad about the roadtrip thing and it’s sounding better and better! He’s been and lived in California in the past and is very familiar with it. He’s got friends who’ll let us stay with them for times and he also told me there might be naked beaches, where you basically have to strip down completely naked to fit in, haha. He told me they might not still be around but might still be, we might check those out. It’s pretty interesting though. We talked of what music to bring and how many concerts we would hope to attend and such, all that good shit. My dad and I are pretty close.

What does Justin look like? Ahh, something everyone’s been wondering. Well, you may know, soon! We’ll probably have a camera with us so some pics will be taken I imagine. I could upload some pics onto the blog and you will all know what I look like, I just hope your monitors don’t break once they reveal me! :P :P

I also watched the Wolf Trap concert DVD from the Doobie Brothers concert I attended a few years ago, the one where I saw Keith Knudsen and sort of predicted it’d be the last time I’d see him. Yeah, long story, it’s in a past blog post I did, called “Whooooooo!” I think, it’s about a Doobie Brothers song, What A Fool Believes. That’ll explain that whole crazy story. ^_^

Well, yeah, today was just one of those days. Sit around, relax, do silly shit, and what not. Anyways, take care! I can’t wait until I can actually share all this bullshit with all my online buddies! Oh, and eventually see the new choochooloco video, the wait has been such a bitch! Haha! :D

Day 3 Of No Internet, April 28, 2008

7:22 P.M.

Overall, today was a crummy long day. L
It was dark and rainy, not very warm at all. I had a headache for most of the day and about every moment of the day kicked shit in my face and sucked…but there were these 3 minutes and 42 seconds that were absolutely amazing! J
I managed to get on a computer away from home for about 10 minutes and got to YouTube, which is typically blocked, but somehow, I got lucky. There, I FINALLY saw the new choochooloco video! :D
It was like the Thai commercial moments, once the video started, I heard the dramatic victorious music and felt my spirits jump high, like it were an impossible goal that I just completed! I felt so happy, I finally saw the choochooloco video and it was LOLZY material! Waaaay awesome!! :D :D
Yeah, that was easily the highlite best moment of my boring and awful day. So, thanks Sharlene and Ashley! ^_^
It seems I might have the new modem tomorrow for the internet, not completely sure, but it may just be here tomorrow, so all this silly shit I’ve typed may be on the blog soon and actual real people besides myself can read and comment! Weeee! Now I’m not completely talking to myself!! :D :D

Okay, I remember where Sharlene instructed me to go to record myself on my computer, so out of major boredom, I decided to try it! I cannot help but start laughing at my own voice clips! God! I’m so fucking gay! Hahahaha!! :D
I even recorded my reaction to “My Little Pony” so if you want to see that, I’ll send it to you! [if I know your e-mail of course] and I guess I could send other stupid recordings too. A quick FYI, the My Little Pony recording is 41.50 seconds! :P :P
Also, this Friday, I am going to another Eli Cook concert! This one is completely free too! :D

The boy known as Justin, then sighed deeply, he felt too lazy to mess around with the modem or anything else around the computer, he blogged about this and is now looking for a bite to eat. He will try to accomplish the goal of watching 3 minutes and 32 seconds of the new choochooloco video, only getting to 44 seconds after trying to watch the video like 20 something times. Movie Talk: Meet The Spartans

Does it look stupid? – Well It Is!! :D

Well, I watched this movie and umm, it’s basically a really cheap rip off of 300. It’s completely stupid but I got some laughs out of it’s utter stupidness.

It’s just like 300, shows all the main scenes but with twists, it just makes everything completely ridiculous and stupid as all hell. Like I said, it will give you a few laughs for sure but it’s not hysterical.

I’d recommend the actual 300 if you want a real movie, this is just one that rips it off in a comedy that is beyond stupidness and stupidity. Acting was so dumb, the scenes were just ridiculous and couldn’t help but make you laugh quietly, shake your head, and say “Oh my Gawd, haha.” It had so much gay humour and other weird shit in it, it was just dumb as all fuck, man.

It’s not a very long movie either, it’s barely over an hour long, this wasn’t meant to be a great movie and it’s obvious while watching it.

If you liked 300 and would like to see a re-make but turn it into a ridiculous and stupid humour type of movie, go see this! 2.5 out of 5 for me.

Movie Talk: Evan Almighty

Well, I’m making a dumb goal to watch a movie every day of this week, watched two already, Monday and Tuesday is here’s Wednesday’s movie! Comedy starring Steve Carell and it’s flat out hilarious! Better than I thought it would be! [and I didnt think I'd likes this one, much to be honest] …….but I fucking LOVED IT!!! :D

It starts out with Evan as a popular politician, he starts on the job in a big fancy office and now lives in a mansion with his 3 sons and wife. All seems about normal….for a few minutes…

PS, all this shit happens at my very own shitty home! VIRGINIA! Hahaha! About time this lame ass state got some excitement!!! =P =P

Soon, Evan notices many strange signs – Signs that lead up to make him believe he has to build an ark, he’s also visited by none other than God himself! Morgan Freeman was great as God and had me laughing often, as did Steve playing as Evan.

Many weird things happen with Evan, he can’t shave without his beard growing back, he can’t ever relax because God is always messing with him, animals are stalking him, and more and more crazy shit happens that just has me laughing my God damned ass off throughout the entire movie!!

Things are a tad insane of course but I really loved it, man! So many parts had me laughing and towards the ark being done built and the flood and all that crazy shit, I found myself screaming like an idiot and laughing, and dancing whenever they did that stupid dance! LOL!

Quite simply said, this movie is completely hysterical!! Go see it! Recommended! 9 out of 10, 4.5 out of 5 for me! :D

Movie Talk: Life Is Beautiful

Well, this movie was recommended to me by none other than Ashley! I checked it out after she mentioned I should watch it, looked interesting, searched for it, and ended up finding it on good ol’ YouTube! Am watching in in 12 parts. :D [commenting as watching each part]

Part 1

I found myself smiling happily at the happy music and just how silly the guy and his friend were, I loved how that woman fell out the sky and he caught her [well, kinda.. =p ] and how he reacted to the one little girl asking him questions, it was all funny. Of course, the scene where he kept on trying to steal that black hat from that one guy was hysterical too, glad he finally got it as well! Looked funny on him! haha, well anyways the clip ended with Guido placing the hat on his head and smiling, it was great! :D

Part 2

Guido continues to make me laugh and I love how he knocks the pot from the window and hits the dude right in the head, hahaha! I laughed out loud at that! It continues with Guido running over to him going about, “Are you alright? Are you alright?!” in that funny accent and then the guy threatens that Guido will never have his bookstore and then he puts his hat back on with Guido gasping and then eggs fall on the dude’s head! LOL! Then Guido makes a run for it from the angry bastard, hahaha, freaking hilarious! Like 3 Stooges or something! I loved that show!! :D

Then he steals a dude’s bike and ends up crashing onto the same woman he fell on earlier!! Hahahaha, omg the hilariousness from it all! Fucking awesome! Then he hides from the mean guy behind his friend and once again, surprises the same girl and is just acting silly as hell. Part 2 ends and I’ve already laughed out loud a few times! So far, so good! :D

Part 3

Guido’s working as a waiter and he impresses the big dude with the meal he wants by stealing it from some other table and putting it on his, only in a matter of seconds, the expression on the big dude’s face is hilarious! Guido wonders about and meets the girl at some place and surprises her again, the look on her face was so cute, haha.  Then he starts talking with a bunch of people and talks out loud for the group of kids and that wholes scene is just nice. Then he is half naked and standing on the tables and showing himself off in front of everyone until the big man walks in the room and Guido sees him, then grabs his clothes and runs off while voicing that hilarious accent, haha! He escapes out the window and waves at the girl he likes, who he’s calling “Princess” and she’s smiling brightly at him, awwww, lol. After that, an opera show is being shown and everyone is watching the performers but Guido! He’s staring ahead at the podium, admiring the “Princess”, which is just so cute and funny, haha. Then the woman next to him is looking at him oddly and Guido says, “You see, I can only here out of my left ear.” HA! So dumb, hahaha. Then he proceeds to look at her and starts talking out loud while looking at her, “C’mon princess, turn around, look at me, look at me” in such a hopeful tone while moving his fingers around and the “princess” turns around and looks at him, the look on his face when she looks at him is just great! After just 3 parts, I am really loving this so far! So funny and cute! =D

Part 4

It starts off again with Guido stealing the big man’s black hat, lol. “He did to me, again.” Too funny. He gets the keys to a car that will pick up the “princess” and he drives it over towards her. She enters and starts talking without even looking at Guido, who is smiling widely and driving. The look on his face was hilarious too. She’s also doing these funny hiccup noises too, lol. She finally turns around and sees him and he smiles brightly, she screams in shock and Guido is laughing and smiling like a dope, haha! He smiles on and on and goes on about how he likes her and she is smiling at him, it’s so damn funny and cute, lol. He then ends up crashing the car and rain is pouring on them. She shouts at him. “When did you learn to drive?!” Guido responds in his hilarious accent, “About 10 minutes ago!” LMAO! The car is broken down and Guido gives her an umbrella to shield herself from the heavy rain and he’s gets off the car, then helping her off it. He doesn’t want her to get her feet wet so he lies out a long walkaway rug and she walks through it as he follows her while talking, holding the umbrella over her head. They are then standing by a building and Guido is dancing around her acting silly with the umbrella still around her, it is still pouring rain. He then notices something: “Princess, your cute little behind is showing.” *GASP* The red scarf is used to cover it up and they walk off together, hahaha.  He impresses her by getting a key by shouting, “Mary! The key!” which upon a key drops into his hands and he smiles at her, she has a rather shocked expression, haha. Guido then drops her off and this is really just priceless! “I’d love so much to make love to you but I’d never tell anyone that, especially you.”HA! Dude, man! She replies, “What?” Guido replies “I want to make love to you, not once, but as often as we can. I’d never tell you that, I’d have to be crazy to tell you I want to make love to you.” She wishes for him to have a dry heart and Guido dances off, happily. Guido is then at some party and has this ball over his face when the guy who scares him asks him a question and Guido replies while hiding his face behind the ball, hahaha.  Part 4 rocked man!

Part 5

It then shows Dora, the “princess” is dancing with the guy that Guido doesn’t like very much. The dancing stops and the rich man announces to everyone he and Dora will get married as Guido is walking by, holding a dessert in his hand, his eyes are completely drawn to them both and he walks into a couch and flips over! Aww man! Poor guy! All his friends gather around him and ask if he’s alright and he picks up the plate and desserts and lifts it up and asks “I’m fine, I’m fine, why is everyone asking me?” and a poodle dog is on the dish with the desserts, hahaha. Guido soon walks by again where Dora is sitting with the rich man and others and Guido spills the dish, Dora looks at him excitedly in this cute look that made me say, “Awwww, oh boy!” She is smiling brightly and even goes underneath the table! Guido is underneath there too and she crawls underneath the table towards him. They have their first kiss under that table, which turned out to be quite a long one in fact, but it was still so cute! Haha. She says “Please, take me away.” to him. He is smiling at her and she crawls back to her seat, turning around one last time, smiling at him.
Then, this gigantic cake with a fake horse on it is delivered to the table where Dora and all the other rich folk are gathered at. Then comes Guido, riding a real green horse! He’s smiling like always. Guido gives a nice bottle of enjoyment to the rich man and asks for Dora to get on with him, she indeed gets on the horse as everyone is watching awed. Guido rides the horse out of there, Dora sitting in front of him, as everyone claps their hands. Haha, aww, if that aint sweet! =D
The rich man shoots the cork from the bottle and it hits an egg above him, which falls and cracks on his head, hahaha. The rich man realizes that Guido is Guido and cost him problems before and he chases after them. Part 5 ends and I’m still loving it! It’s so cute and funny, man! =D

Part 6

Dora walks inside a flower house and then all the sudden, they’re in the future! They are together and even have an adorable son, aww, that’s so nice! Guido, Dora, and their son go on the bike and ride through the town as nice music plays, I couldn’t help but smile with it! Dora is dropped off and Guido continues riding the bike with the son. Guido now has himself a book store and his son is still with him, two men come for Guido for a meeting or something and Guido tells his son to look over the store. Soon they are all at home and the son is hiding in a shelf, Guido tells the shelf to move and the boy moves with the shelf towards Dora and that whole scene’s just funny and cute. Bad news abrews, Dora opens up the door and notices Guido and the son are gone, they are both in an army vehicle and it happens to be the son’s birthday oddly enough. The son is wondering where he is and Guido is calming him down, smiling and laughing saying they’re going on a fun adventure despite that he knows something bad’s happening. Half the movie watched and now it looks like things could be turning bad, oh noes…

Part 7

A train is running with Guido and Joshua on it, it seems as if it’ll leave Dora behind but she manages to convince the guy to stop the train and she gets on it as well. Guido is accompanying Joshua and making up a bunch of stuff to keep him calm and so. They arrive at a place with tons of bunk beds and stinky men in prison suits. Joshua doesn’t like it and misses mommy [aww], and Guido’s doing whatever he can to keep him calm. Turns out it’s Nazi’s who have them all captured! One of the Nazi’s is asking for a  Translator and Guido finds out from a man in there that was what the Nazi wanted Guido pretends to understand what the man is saying and translating and he is telling everyone it’s a game you have to get 1000 points to take home a tank and it’s all to calm down his son! Man, that’s so thoughtful of him, haha. This movie’s just so cute, silly, and funny, I’m loving it, still.

Part 8

Guido continues spouting random shit whenever the Nazi announces things and mentions the word, “Jackass” and Joshua does this funny expression and puts his hands over his mouth, which was just innocently cute and funny, haha. The Nazi continues to say more and more and Guido says the silliest shit and Joshua looks so inspired and his reactions are just gold, man. Priceless stuff. The Nazi’s leave and everyone is giving Guido the cold eye and he heads over to his son, who is now cheerful and excited instead of gloomy and mommy missing. Guido and the other adults are soon put to difficult and hard work in quite the hot area while Joshua sits on the bed, waiting for his dad to return. Guido comes back and Joshua’s excited and yells “Papa!” and greets him happily, Guido is dead tired but is still cheerful for the boy none of the less. Guido is still getting Joshua to buy the whole game idea and it’s just so funny, man, haha.
It gets even funnier and more “uh oh-ish” when while Guido is working, Joshua runs into the place he is working out, because he does not want to take a “shower.” Joshua gives a few more laughs to me from how he acts about it. It’s clear now they bad things are going to happen but I love how Guido remains trying to keep Joshua calm with the whole game thing. I’m worried about what’s about to happen…

Part 9

Guido is still working and the son is keeping out of sight but going with him, the two find an intercom and Guido and the boy shout in it for Dora, Guido shouting about how he loves her, misses her, remembers past times, etc, Joshua’s saying “Hi mommy!” and it’s just a cute scene. =)
Another thing happens where Joshua wants to leave the place and Guido plays along with it but with a few sly lines, he draws Joshua’s attention to wanting to stay, saving both of their asses, haha! =D
I’m still worried something bad’s gonna happen, though… =(

Part 10

Guido is forced to make Joshua promise not to talk at all after they were spotted by some Nazi bitch. They are taken to a place with other German children and Joshua accidentally says “Thank you,” and nearly gets himself killed! Luckily, Guido takes the fall and acts like he is teaching all the children to say “Thank you,” saving Joshua.  Onto #11 and I am worried as hell something’s gonna happen!

Part 11

Guido plays some music through a window for Dora to hear and she hears it, walks out and has light tears in her eyes from the music.  It then shows Guido and Joshua are outside in the fog, talking together as the music is still going.
Soon enough, obviously something is happening and all the Nazi’s are distracted so Guido is taking Joshua out and going to try and escape, he hides Joshua in a box and goes out to search for Dora. Guido sees what’s happening with her and goes back to Joshua, and he makes Joshua promise to remain in the box until nobody is around and it is completely quiet, if he does that, he wins the tank and has 1000 points. Guido puts head wear on and pretends to be a woman, looking for Dora. Unfortunately, Guido is caught while looking for her…..oh no…. =(

Part 12

God dammit all! A minute after this clip started, Guido is executed… =’(
Man!! That crap really makes me sad! He was such a great guy, so un-selfish, such a personality, now he can’t be there for his wife or his poor son, damn it all! =’(
Not long afterwards, everyone is leaving and Joshua comes out of the box.  Joshua wonders around and ironically enough, a tank shows up and he has this priceless and excited expression. He shouts in excitement, “Oh boy! It’s true!” about the game prize and what not. Well, anyways, the tank stops and an American soldier acting friendly pops out the tank. He asks if Joshua is alone and alright. The soldier is very friendly, fortunately and helps Joshua into the tank and drives him around in it. Joshua is wearing the little tank helmet and it’s quite a nice site as good music is played with it as well. Joshua sees his mother from the tank and the soldier helps him off the tank, Joshua runs towards Dora screaming “Momma” and is very happy to see her of course. An older Joshua is talking as if in a flashback about it and it shows Dora and Joshua embracing each other happily and Joshua is shouting, “We won!” in which Dora replies, “Yes, we won!” Joshua shouts happily about “winning the game” as Dora holds him, smiling. The credits roll….

My God! Brillaint fucking movie! 5 out of 5, 10 out of 10, <3333333 that movie! Really damn good! But Christ, poor Guido!! =”(
The acting was top notch, Roberto Benigni was absolutely great as Guido!! Wow man! What a character! I loved him throughout the entire film! His devotion and daring deeds to do whatever he could to impress Dora and despite the ever so unlikely situation, he still winds up marrying her and being with her – the woman he loves!! =D
That’s really great and then they have a lovely child, who was just a funny little dude! Haha, he made me laugh often and was quite the character! I loved how hard Guido tried to make Joshua remain calm and just all the effort he had put, it was all so unselfish, how could you not love Guido for that?! Wow, man, he was just fucking great! Hell, that’s someone to admire! Seriously man, what a dude! Completely unselfish and willing to do anything to please his wife and their child despite all odds and hardships, I completely and utterly admire his character!! Blown away, holy shit man, he was just great! So sad he had to die but at least Joshua and Dora are still alive and together. =)

I loved all those beginning scenes with Guido and Dora, they were all so cute and funny! It’s also really really great that they managed to get out of there and live together peacefully and in love, awwww! =D

Ashley!! Thanks so much for recommending this! I’m not kidding, I freaking loved this movie!! I got so many laughs out of it and must of said “Awww” God knows how many times!! Haha! It was just so cute, funny, silly, and happy for so much of it until Guido’s passing, but still, it was such a great movie!! Honestly, I freaking love this movie and thank you so much for telling me to watch this! Thanks for showing me my new favorite movie! =D

Movie Talk: Audition

Well, this movie was recommended to me by Sharlene and from looking at it at Imdb, it looked interesting, so I sat down and watched it. It’s also a plus that I typically love foreign films, especially the horror type as well. I’m watching the film in 3 clips from a movie site.

After watching the first clip, which is like 40 minutes I think, I feel bad for the main character, who lost his wife unfortunately. 7 years later, his teenage son asks him if he ever thinks of re-marriage and the man ponders throughout the decision. I feel awful for him because that’s gotta be so rough, the woman you loved, had a kid with, dies on you when so young, leaving you with the young boy to raise alone but also just the simple fact, that was the woman you loved and she’s dead…man, it’s such a sad horrible thing. :(

The guy considers finding a new woman and goes to his friend, who holds up an open audition for female actresses between the ages of 20 to 30. One woman, Asami Yamazaki, interests the man very much. It was kind of cute watching the man get nervous and try to keep his chest up and look confident before she walked in the room for her audition, and how he would walk by the hallway and couldn’t help but looking at only her despite the fact numerous other good looking women are around. Hah, I know how he feels there and it’s such a feeling, really. I also loved how the guy said absolutely nothing to any of the other 27 women during their 10 minute auditions but he displays so much interest in Asami and asks her questions about ballet and such. Then he gets to those deep life statement comments and Asami just stands there politely while the other interviewer, the friend of the main male character, who had been asking all the questions and doing all the talking, is speechless and giving an hilarious “oh shit, dude, you are so interested in this one” kind of expression, lol.

Well, that’s what I noticed during the first 30 minutes of watching. [Okay, 32 minutes... =p ]

Now onward from 32 minutes! After that, the two men talk and the other one is asking the main one why Asami interests him so much.  The main character, I finally found out his name is Shigeharu, goes on about what he likes about her and his friend has a feeling something is out of place with Asami, that she has something strange and wrong about her.  The clip ended with Shigeharu going through Asami’s file once again and then calling her, he asks her if she would like to go out and she accepts, Shigeharu hangs up the phone and has a wide smile on his face.

The 2nd part of the clip began with Shigeharu’s friend calling him, warning Shigeharu about Asami and that her musical producer, known as Mr. Shibata, had disappeared and never been found for over a year and a half. He basically just displays concern about Asami to Shigeharu.

It starts off after that with Shigeharu and Asami having a nice meal at a restaurant together, they are talking. Shigeharu is obviously nervous but interested and he asked Asami about Mr. Shibata. She claims she had never met him and Shigeharu assures her that’s okay after Asami feels she deceived him about it. Shigeharu assures Asami to call him anytime for any favors. After that, Shigeharu and his friend meet up and the friend is still displaying concern and warning Shigeharu to not be too rash about getting into a marriage with Asami. Shigeharu and Asami meet up at more dinners and places and have many conversations and all seems so happy and well. They eventually even have sex and well, obviously Shigeharu becomes even more obsessed with her.

Part 3 comes and the two talk very closely and Asami reveals her troubled past of how she was abused and other sad stuff. Shigeharu has weird thoughts of his deceased wife telling him he cannot be with Asami and then his words are snapped when Asami says, “I want you,” to him. Upon which she goes down to him and…..**BLEEP**CENSORED**XXX** He actually continues his past thoughts and pushes her off but she continues at him anyways. Then he falls back and out of nowhere, a tied up white bag is there! Then the bag pops open! He jumps! I jumped! In the bag was no beautiful Asian woman but a monster looking girl, with hair all over her body, panting and muttering, “Food, Food, Food!” Then Asami is behind him, walking over to the….”thing” from the bag and gives him a bowl of food, sort of like dog food. The “thing” eats out of the dish like a dog while making weird noises and well, it’s fucking weird!! Then it shows a little girl version of Asami petting the “thing” like a dog while Shigeharu is watching in disgust, his hand over his mouth! Then the little girl Asami looks back at Shigeharu and says “I just want you to love only. Just love me.” Jesus Christ…..WTF?!! Shigeharu falls back, then this sick old man walks from behind him, carrying a burning metal stick, walking towards Asami.  He keeps muttering, “Asami, Asami,” and “Dance to me” The entire time he is smiling weird and getting closer and closer to her with the burning metal. Then he mutters, “Dance, dance, Dance! Dance, bitch! Or I’ll punish you again!” Then it shows a blue fazed screen and an adult Asami and the old man crawling towards her. She sits down and spreads her legs. He does something totatlly fucking sick and disturbing that I will not type out and it shows Shigeharu enter and he shouts, “Asami!” and then it shows the same old man in a wheelchair, playing the piano! Adult Asami then walks to the old man, wraps a steel wire around his neck and tells him it’s sharp enough to cut through skin and bone but he plays like nothing is happening at all! It then shows her fists gripping the handles and the old man’s throat is slit and he mutters “You’re great” and it shows her smiling evilly behind him. He is still playing! She says “I dont know what is unhappiness because I never taste happiness.” It then shows Shigeharu say “Asami.” then random scenes of him having sex with her or his past wife! Then Asami’s voice mutters, “No…men cannot live without women.” It then shows Shigeharu and his friend and the friend says, “Let’s hold an audition.” Then numerous weird things happen! Old man’s head falls into the piano, blood is shown, flashbacks are shown, then Shigeharu falls to the ground himself! He is panting and looking up, footsteps are heard nearby him. He is weak and lying in pain, he looks around and sees that his poor little dog is dead, it’s head off it’s body. Asami is standing next to it and Shigeharu mutters “Asami” weakly. Asami is injecting this needle with something deadly and Shigeharu remains lying on the ground muttering “Asami” weakly. Asami says “You cannot move now. You’re still awake when I take care of you.” She walks closer to him and says “Then you can taste the pain.” She sits right across from his head, grabs his toungue from his mouth and sticks the needle in it! Shigeharu’s body is shaking violently and his leg dangles every few seconds, she pushes his body off the rug. She puts a blanket on the rug and pushes his body on it, then pulls out another needle. She sits in front of him and is inserting the needle in his happy place that’s not so happy and says “You liar. You don’t really hold an audition. In fact, you want to cheat the girls. You bastard.” She is cutting his jacket front and then his shirt off. She reveals his skin, pulls out more needles and Shigeharu’s body lightly jumps at times. She inserts the needle in him and he jumps in pain, she is smiling and getting closer to the needle saying “Stick in.” She repeats that and sticks more needles in him, Shigeharu’s head is bouncing around in pain and asks, “Does this hurt? You can tell lies, but your pains can’t. Right?” She continues stabbing him with needles.  “How to stick in is difficult, It takes a lot of learning.” She rambles on and soon his entire stomach is covered with needles. She gets on top of his chest, sticks a needle in his eye, makes this creepy as all hell face and screeches “Stick in!” She puts a few more in his eyes, repeating, “Stick in.”  She talks and talks and says if you want to know yourself, taste the pain. Bigger the pain, bigger the understanding. She threatens to go after his teenage son and he barely manages to say to her to not go after him. She said “You said you loved only me. That’s a lie. I just have you, but you are a playboy.” She goes on and on and continues harming him. Shigeharu begs her to stop, she cuts his foot off with the steel-wire while giggling evilly. The teenage son’s voice is heard and she leaves the room, Shigeharu is still trying to get up to save him. The son walks in, he sees him lying in blood, he asked what is wrong, crazy bitch is behind him about to kill him, then he suddenly wakes up! He is scared out of his mind and looks next to him to see Asami asleep, peacefully. He then wakes up back into the nightmare and Asami chases after the teenage boy with a spray can, she chases him upstairs and he kicks her from the stairs and onto the ground, she seems to be dead. The son calls the police and Shigeharu is still lying on the ground, so is Asami, she is still but she is looking at him and talking! They each say some powerful stuff about life and suffering and Shigeharu tells her despite suffering, it’s best to value the treasures of life as well. The movie then ends, credits roll.

WOW! That was all fucking insane!!…….but I loved it! Haha! That movie was fucking great! Thanks so much for recommending it, Sharlene!! P.S., Ashley, I will try to watch “Life Is Beautiful” ASAP, that’s a promise! :D
But yes, very kickass movie, fucking loved it all! It was so cute and then it turned so insane and well, nobody died!! YAY!! ………….except the poor dog. :( [unless, it was still all a dream???]

Goddammit! You Mushroom Piece Of Shit!

I’m not really into video gaming, I like it but don’t avidly collect or play video games. I’ve always loved Mario games though! :D

I use to play Mario with my uncle [the one who ended up killing himself...] whenever I visited him in New York back when I was younger, I loved those times so much! I can remember them like yesterday… :)

Anyways, I’ve had this on my Facebook profile for a while, but I didnt really play it until recently and well, I love it! It’s a lot like the ones I use to play, the music, doot doot jump noises, and gameplay are a lot like the past games and well, it’s really fun! It brings a nice, wide, happy smile whenever I play it! :D

I must of played and beaten the game like 10 times, I am seriously being honest here, the game was just so much fun that I kept on playing it and playing it and playing it over and over and over again! :P

The ending makes me laugh every time, I flat out love it! If you have not played the game, please do not read this!

**SPOILER**: I love how at the end, Mario finds the mushroom man in the bag and he said, “Thanks for saving me, Mario! But, sorry, we lied, there’s no princess…” Mario’s angry face and he shouts, “Goddammit! You Mushroom Piece Of Shit!” and he jumps and kicks the mushroom man in half! Lol! I love it so fucking much! Hahaha! :D **SPOILER**

Ahh, good ol Mario, never never gets old, always such a fun game! Glad I can play it whenever I open up my Facebook account! :D

Movie Talk: Juno [2007]

Ahh, the reviews don’t lie, Juno’s a good film. It was actually quite funny and had a nice vibe to it, a movie you could sit and enjoy the entire time. :)

Ellen Page stars as 16 year old, Juno MacGuff, who practically forces her best friend, Paulie Bleeker, starred by Michael Cera, to have sex with her on a chair. Well, of course it happens, not like a 16 year old boy’s going to refuse a girl who’s on him, right? =P

Anyways, Juno winds up pregnant at 16, yikes. Uh oh, not good, how could this possibly turn into a comedy? Well, not sure how they pulled it off, but they did. Of course, Juno has to tell her parents and the boy she “raped” about it after she couldn’t bring herself to an abortion, feeling bad for the child and just wanting it to live and what not. An Asian girl with glasses who stood outside the hospital protesting abortions also contributed to that decision. =p

Juno searches for parents in the ads and finds a decent couple, so she and her father meet them. The female of that couple’s played by Jennifer Garner, her character was Vanessa Loring, a woman who desperately wants a baby and feels she was meant to be a mother. Her husband is a man named Mark Loring, played by Jason Bateman. Mark’s basically someone who’s dreaming of being a rock star and is still pretty young inside himself. They are a rich couple, living in a fancy ass mansion.

Juno’s plan is to “pop the baby out” and give him/her to that couple but a few more things go wrong and then Juno’s relationship with the father of her child, who’s one of her best friends, starts to sour. Juno’s secretly in love with him and begins to suffer from depression and wonders if there is such a thing as true love and can two people who love each other really stay together. Ahh, Juno was such an interesting girl, she was way cool. ^_^

The movie’s just got such a nice odd humour to it, not even sure how to explain it. The music used in it was pretty cool too as well as the little effects on it, it was a very enjoyable film.

Would I recommend it?
Yes, for sure! See this ASAP, I personally thought it was a great film!

Who’d I Like The Most In This Movie? Who Impressed Me?
Ellen Page was spot on as Juno, first time seeing her in a movie and I’m blown away, she was great in this movie. Very interesting girl. She made the movie, her humour, devotion to music, personality, and just her thoughts were all just so cool and well, maybe this sounds silly, but I think some of her thoughts and my own are quite similar. Simply put, Juno rocks! :D

J.K. Simmons as Mac McGuff, Juno’s father, was great! I loved his sense of humour. He just had something about him that flat out amused me.

Jason Bateman as Mark Loring was good too, he was devoted to his music and he had something about him that I thought was cool. He pulled some funnies every once in a while too.

Allison Janey as Bren MacGuff was pretty good too, she was actually pretty funny. There’s one scene she did that flat out had me laughing real good but I won’t give it away! ;)
Who Didn’t Impress Me?
Ehh, nobody was bad but Michael Cera was so-so in my opinion. Even he had some things about him I thought were funny and he just seems so helpless and awkward that you can’t help but laugh a little bit.

It’s a sweet movie, good comedy and just a fun movie overall, go see it! :D
