R.I.P. Gene Upshaw

Gene Upshaw 1945 - 2008

I was very saddened to hear of Gene’s death, he was one of my favorites from the Oakland Raiders football team that I loved so much in the 1070’s, he was my favorite right next to Kenny Stabler, I read Stabler’s book that frequently mentioned Gene often and watched lots of awesome film of Upshaw playing. Gene was one hell of a football player and I actually one time looked at Gene and the other players and wondered about the possibility that any of them could die at the age of their own numbers…..and it happened. I hate my physhic thoughts sometimes. R.I.P. Gene, you were a fucking legend, man! So gotta re-watch your past games! :D
